This website is mostly for my family, including all of my 'Internet Cousins' who are interested in genealogy. I'm a biostatistician who lives and works in Houston, Texas. However, I grew up in Black River Falls and Cross Plains, Wisconsin. My ancestory is Norwegian, German, and French. Since the summer of 1999 my brother Paul and I have been working on the family genealogy. This is what we have to-date. Please don't treat everything in it as 'gospel'. Some of it has been obtained from other people's websites rather than from original source material, and there could be errors in those websites or in my transcription of their data. Many of the sources are cited here. Please let me know if you find errors or inconsistencies. Birth dates and marriage dates of living people have been 'privatized'.
